Terry Stevinson

Terry is the president of Stevinson Group, Inc. (SGI) a family owned and operated company. SGI is the parent company of Stevinson Automotive, Inc., which is the parent company of Stevinson Chevrolet, Stevinson Lexus of Lakewood, Stevinson Lexus of Frederick, Stevinson Jaguar Porsche, Stevinson Toyota East, and Stevinson Toyota West. Terry’s younger brother, Kent, is in charge of the automotive operations.

SGI is also the parent company of Stevinson Realty, Inc.. Stevinson Realty, Inc. is the parent company of Denver West Management, Denver West Realty, Denver West Office Park. Terry’s brothers Greg and Scott are in charge of the real estate operations. A few years ago the family sold a partnership interest in the Denver West Office Park to the Pyne Group.

Terry served in the family business for forty years. Twenty years on the automotive side in accounting, sales, service, and parts management, training and operations, dealership operation and dealership acquisitions. He also has served twenty years on the real estate side in accounting, development, annexation, tenant. utilities and government relations.Besides SGI the family also has Stevinson Colorado Mills Holdings (a partner in the Colorado Mills Mall), Grassland Partnership (a partner in the Denver West Apartment),  and Stevinson Partnership ( family partnership with various holdings), in which Terry is one of the directing partners in all of them. Terry also serves as vice president of Denver West Metropolitan District and the Lena Gulch Metropolitan District.

He is currently on the board at Mount Saint Vincent Home in Denver, and the E Project Theater in Lakewood. He also serves on the advisory board for Red Rock Community College’s theatre program. He is also currently serving on a task force with the Wings Museum to study the ideas and proposals for a new school with an emphasis in aerospace.

Terry has served in the past as a member and chair of the City of Arvada’s Council for the Arts and Humanities, as the chair of the Small Business Council for the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry (CACI), as a delegate and co-chair to the White House Conference on Small Business, and was a founder of the Colorado Small Business Alliance. He has also served as president of the Metro Denver New Car Dealer Association, and the Boulder New Car Dealer Association. He has also served as a consultant to both for profit and not for profit businesses as well as political leaders and other individuals in the areas of business improvement, marketing, sales, and customer/donor relations. Terry has been married to Linda for thirty-seven years. They have two daughters (Emily and Janessa), a son (Nate) and a thirteen year old grandson (Tyler).
